Harm to Yourself or Others: If you express serious intent to harm yourself or someone else, I’m legally obligated to take steps to ensure safety, which could include contacting emergency services or notifying someone who can help.


Abuse or Neglect: If you disclose current abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult, I must report this to the authorities.


Court Orders: In rare cases, a court may order me to provide information as part of a legal proceeding.
